Charnwood Borough Council is currently preparing its Local Development Framework (LDF), and as part of this process consultation on the Core Strategy Further Consultation document, which sets out how future development will be delivered in the area was undertaken from 24 October 2008 to 5 December 2008. The East of Loughborough SUE is one of a number of sites being considered as an option for development to meet future requirements for new homes and jobs.

Over the coming months officers will be working through the issues raised by respondents to the consultation before preparing a Proposed Submission Core Strategy document.
